Back in the Edo period, Japan was going through a bit of a culinary revolution. It was during this time, when new ingredients were flooding into the country and increased urbanization was bringing about a demand for great-tasting restaurant food, that an unknown chef first prepared a mixture of soy sauce, rice wines, and sugar to grill his meats in. Years later, this same sauce would be among the first Japanese tastes to be embraced by the American market. The name of this sauce has become quintessential of the American relationship with Japanese food, and it is for this reason that we are proud to continue bringing this taste “2U” today.

Welcome to Teriyaki 2U, your home for quality teriyaki and other Asian classics. A far cry from a hole-in-the-wall grill shop, we offer a pleasing restaurant setting where you can feel good to come in, sit down, and enjoy a proper meal. Customers appreciate our friendly service and our charming atmosphere, both of which serve as a fitting prelude to the dining experience that is to come.

Try teriyaki like you’ve never tried it before! As simple and classic as this old standard is, you haven’t truly eaten teriyaki until you’ve eaten it with a side order of pride and dedication. Chicken, salmon, tofu, we’ve got it on all of your favorite meats and vegetarian dishes. And if you’re not in the mood for everyone’s favorite Japanese sauce, we’ve got an assortment of other options sure to please any sensibilities. Take a tour through our Chinese menu, or class up your evening with something off our our sushi list!

So, come on down to Teriyaki 2U in Auburn today. You just might remind yourself why America fell in love with teriyaki in the first place!

Yay! A yummy Teriyaki place in Auburn. Yes, you can have the lunch special spicy at no extra cost. Portions are HUGE. The taste and quality is on point. The family that runs this place is consistently pleasant. There’s a yaki joint closer to wear I work (Lakeland hills area) but that’ place isn’t as good as this one! In fact, I’m not sure how the other one stays in business. I completely understand how this one does!
